I’m incredibly proud of the changes we’ve been able to make in New York City so far, and I’m just as proud of who we’ve done it with. Just about everything we’ve fought for has upset the status quo by helping working people. As we bring that record of accomplishment onto the national stage for the second time, it’s important to me to make sure we bring a person who’s fought with us to the national stage — literally.
