Moving into the Holidays with Momentum
The Republican Party of Arizona held our Executive Committee meeting on Saturday, December 4th, in Scottsdale. It was a very productive meeting with many county chairs reporting on impressive growth in the recruitment of new precinct committeemen. We also shared that Republicans are outpacing Democrat voter registrations here in Arizona, which is a direct result of our unwavering commitment to growing our Party over the last year. Treasurer Sheila Muehling reported on the exceptional financial strength of the AZGOP including the fact that we are debt-free. Our Executive Committee meeting was followed by our Christmas Party where leaders, activists, and candidates shared the joy of the season.

The Arizona Independent Redistricting Commission (IRC) completed its public hearings last week. The turnout from Republicans was terrific, and in venue after venue, we had more Republicans testifying than Democrats. The IRC is now working to finalize the congressional and legislative district lines for the new maps we will be using for the next ten years. They are aiming to have those maps ready before Christmas.

Republican State Legislators continue to lead the way on Election Integrity. Members of the State Senate and House held a meeting on the 2020 Pima County general election: some of the highlights are listed below. I am proud of our Republican state legislators that are willing to withstand criticism to get to the bottom of what happened in the 2020 election.

The Wards and the entire staff at the Republican Party of Arizona wish you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas!

Always America First!

Arizona Legislators Hold Meeting on Pima County Election Integrity

On Monday, December 13, Republican members of the Arizona State Senate and House traveled to Tucson for an election integrity hearing focused the 2020 election in Pima County. Many things were revealed during the hearing. Licensed private investigators and volunteers from the Pima County Republican Party canvassed and door knocked more than twenty precincts to ask voters about who had cast ballots from their address. There were a number of cases where homeowners said that people listed as having voted by mail from their address no longer lived there.

There are curious situations regarding the number of registered voters in many areas in Pima County including Sells, AZ. The 2020 Census reports 2,121 people as living in Sells and 78% of those people are above the age of eighteen revealing that there should be about 1800 potential voters if 100% of those people registered to vote. The voter rolls in Pima County list more than 2,700 people registered to vote in Sells. More voters than people! This is yet another reason a full canvass related to the 2020 election must be done in our state. The Election Integrity Unit at the Attorney General’s office has the authority and ability to get this done.

Contact Your Legislators to Call for a Special Session on Election Integrity!

Contact your legislators and let them know that Arizona needs a special session to address election integrity so new laws will take effect before the August primary. If laws are enacted during a regular session, they will not go into effect until around September. That is why we need a Special Session now! Find your Legislator here.
Biden Administration Loses Another Ruling on Remain in Mexico Policy

The Biden administration has suffered another legal setback in its bid to end a Trump-era immigration policy requiring U.S. asylum seekers at the southern border to remain in Mexico while their claims are considered. The Fifth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, in a ruling Monday night, said the Department of Homeland Security didn’t engage in reasoned decision-making when it ended the Trump policy in violation of a law that governs federal-agency actions. Biden Mandates Continue to Lose in Courts

The Biden administration has been hit with a string of legal losses over its COVID-19 vaccine mandates, with a number of federal judges across the nation halting the implementation of the rules claiming overreach by the executive branch — as the Justice Department plans to "vigorously defend" the mandates in court. Read More
November Jobs Report is Another Miss for Joe Biden

The economy added back just 210,000 jobs in November, less than half the jobs economists had predicted. This is the worst jobs report of the year and of Biden’s presidency. In 3 of the last 4 months, the economy has added fewer jobs than expected. We are still 8.2 million jobs below the pre-pandemic trend. The November jobs report provides little consolation to the 3.9 million

Americans who lost their job during the pandemic and have yet to get it back.
Joe Biden and Democrats' policies are creating a worker shortage. There are more than 10 million job openings – a near record. 3.6 million workers were unable to work in November because their employer was closed or lost business during the pandemic.
Biden Inflation Continues as Wholesale Prices Rise at Record Rate in November

Wholesale prices increased at their quickest pace on record in November in the latest sign that the inflation pressures bedeviling the economy are still present, the Labor Department reported Tuesday.

The producer price index for final demand increased 9.6% over the previous 12 months after rising another 0.8% in November. Economists had been looking for an annual gain of 9.2%, according to FactSet. Read More
