Mark Meadows, former White House Chief of Staff and current subject of Congressional investigation, turned over a powerpoint presentation to the January 6th Committee. The powerpoint was titled “Election Fraud, Foreign Interference & Options for 6 Jan."

The “presentation” made recommendations for Donald Trump and the GOP to declare the 2020 election invalid and secure a second term for Donald Trump.

That’s right: They put their plot to overthrow the government in a powerpoint presentation.

It’s hard to put into words just how dangerous this is, John. Here’s what we know for certain:

1. Donald Trump, Mark Meadows, and other members of the GOP knew about the events that would transpire on January 6th before they occurred.
2. Elected Republicans are just as complicit — maybe even more so — as we feared.
3. Donald Trump and all involved Congressional Republicans must never hold public office again.
