John,

From tortilla boycotts,, unionizing workers, and hunger strikes, organizing has shaped my life. Whether it was building a new school, securing a living wage, or ensuring worker safety – each small victory taught me an important lesson -- that by working together to fight for change, we can win, and that progress starts with us.

That lesson has guided my career, from organizing in the Southwest Side of Chicago to serving my community as a member of Congress. It informs my focus on working families and education, and I believe it has made me a better leader. But I know we’re just getting started.

From neighbors stepping up to lend a helping hand during the pandemic to labor unions making historic gains across the country, organizing changes lives. My career has always been about bringing people together to fight for progress. Can I count on you to join me? [[link removed]]

Those small wins remind me that no matter how steep the climb – when we organize we win. The battles today might seem huge in comparison – climate change, immigration reform, and the fight to save our democracy – but if we steel our resolve, stand in solidarity with one another and organize like hell, we will win. Are you with me? [[link removed]]

Best,
Chuy
