John -- in case you missed it, one of Mississippi’s Democratic icons has been helping get out the vote for Jennifer. Here’s his message:
Hello, this is Ray Mabus, former Governor of Mississippi and former Secretary of the Navy.
I am reaching out to tell you what I know -- Jennifer Riley Collins is committed to democracy. Jennifer has been on my team twice before: first while working on my campaign when she was in college and then while working at the Pentagon as intelligence officer Colonel Collins when I was the Secretary of the Navy.
Jennifer's life has not been about being in the limelight, but instead about being there to protect people. I am honored to be on the team to make her Mississippi's next Attorney General. Her race is a continuation of a lifetime of public service. I am asking you to join me in voting for her on November 5th.
John, will you stand with Ray Mabus and help us get out the vote for Jennifer in tomorrow’s election? We need 121 grassroots donors to step up today so we can keep up our momentum and reach every voter in Mississippi.

Jennifer Riley Collins would be the first African American woman ever and first African American since Reconstruction to be elected to statewide office in Mississippi. But she’s not running to make history. She’s running to make a difference for the people of Mississippi and fight for their hard-won civil rights, healthcare, and ensure that everyone is treated with dignity under the law.
Every single vote and every single donation matters in this election. Please whatever you can to make sure you’ve done your part today.
