John,

The investments we’re making in Central Virginia today, through the bipartisan infrastructure bill, will pay dividends for our communities.

I know a lot of people think of this bill and how it will repair roads and bridges - which it will - but the projects this investment will help grow are going to make an impact in VA-07, and the country, for generations to come.

Recently, I toured the site of the Woodman Road extension project with Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg. This project alone will help connect multiple residential neighborhoods, areas of commerce, a park, and the future GreenCity ecodistrict.

And these infrastructure investments are also direct investments in job opportunities. In fact, a vital part of this bill includes resources to help train new truckers. This kind of investment not only helps Central Virginians with jobs, but it strengthens our economy and our national readiness.

We’re making real progress for Central Virginia and the country. As always, I appreciate your support.
