Every three months, our team sits down to create a budget for the upcoming quarter. Then, we set fundraising goals and deadlines to keep us on track.

Tonight marks our final mid-month deadline of 2021 — and after we close the books at the end of the month, we’ll tally up our numbers and see if we’re on track to send a strong report to the Federal Election Commission.

I’m still the new guy around here, so when our report goes public, everyone — including Mitch McConnell — will comb through it looking for signs of weakness.

With a Senate seat up for grabs here in Colorado, I don’t want to give McConnell a reason to think our momentum last year was just a fluke.
