The GOP backed surge of anti choice legislation sweeping through our nation reached Delaware on Tuesday night in what can only be called a desperate, last ditch maneuver to restrict women’s access to health care.

The Seaford City Council’s unconstitutional measure proves why we still have to stand up and defend abortion access in courtrooms, the legislature, town halls, and at the ballot box. That’s exactly what Democrats in the legislature did in 2016 when they codified Roe v. Wade into our state’s constitution.

As the Republicans launch a nationwide calculated effort to restrict access to abortion entirely, we must be more unified than ever in our demand for abortion access. Sign our petition to stand with women across Delaware and the nation whose right to choose is being threatened.
