Thanks to your support, we’re working today to build a better tomorrow for all animals. With you by our side, we’re strategically challenging the status quo of animal agribusiness through undercover investigations, legal advocacy, corporate and food system reform, and empowering everyone to choose vegan.

Please watch and share the second of our four year-in-review videos. This video focuses on our 2021 legal advocacy work.

Only with your support can we continue to hold animal abusers accountable in 2022 and beyond. ([link removed])

This year, thanks to your support, our legal team fought for animals by:
* Defending Prop 12, California’s law against extreme confinement, which is being challenged by the meat industry.

* Fighting to stop high-speed slaughter and to protect the most vulnerable pigs in slaughterhouses.

* Pushing back against the planned construction of a massive aquaculture facility in Florida, which would double salmon production in the U.S.

* Suing Cooke Aquaculture for false advertising about their cruel treatment of fish.

* Sparking a recall of Salmonella-tainted dog food, which was processed at Bravo Packing.

* Taking a prosecutor to court to push for criminal prosecution of a dairy farm for the cruelty and neglect uncovered in one of our investigations.

* Fighting to stop high-speed slaughter and to protect the most vulnerable pigs in slaughterhouses.

* Filing a public nuisance lawsuit against a chicken slaughterhouse based on the mistreatment revealed by one of our investigations.

* Fighting to ban practices such as live markets, gestation and veal crates, foie gras production, and horse slaughter and against bills designed to benefit the animal agriculture industry including this year's ag-gag efforts to end investigations.
* Building the field of animal law by teaching and working with lawyers and mentoring future animal law practitioners.

Because of you, we’ve accomplished so much in 2021. Will you join us in 2022 as we continue to fight for animals in the courtroom? ([link removed]) By making a donation now, your support will have twice the impact for farmed animals. All donations made before December 31 are being matched dollar-for-dollar up to $125,000 by a generous donor. Your donation today will help keep animal abusers accountable for their horrific treatment of farmed animals.
