We wish we were making this up. Polis's opponent not only claimed that Polis faked being gay, faked his marriage to his husband AND abused an ex-wife - absolutely none of which is true - but also parroted neo-Nazi talking points to smear Polis's Jewish faith and political donors like George Soros. She also sprouted conspiracy theories about the COVID-19 pandemic, the Kennedy Assassination, and LGBTQ couples adopting kids!
Her rant was homophobic, anti-sematic, and absolutely disgusting. But even more terrifying, she's not the only Q-Anon conspiracy theorist who's running for office right now. She's just the latest to make headlines for saying something truly terrible about one of our LGBTQ candidates.
