John - as lawmakers head home for the holidays, it's my hope that they will reflect on the things that bind us together as Americans.

What many of our elected leaders have lost is that unspoken commitment of serving a higher purpose during their time in office. What has replaced it is a selfish desire for opportunism and belief that doing nothing is winning.

You and I know better and that's why we're so invested in pushing for positive change. I asked my team to share this short video message with you:

Our hard work is making a difference as you see Trump's grip on the party weakening and Republican candidates distancing themselves from his hateful rhetoric.

But we have to keep up the momentum and that means we need to keep raising the funds to keep at it. I know it's the holiday season and budgets are tight but I'd appreciate anything you can pledge to help us keep up our efforts in the New Year.

I'm so appreciative of all the work you're doing to heal the divisions in our country and get our government working again for all of us.
