Hello Team Brady!
John, as one of our most active supporters, we know that you understand investment in community violence intervention (CVI) programs is proven to reduce gun violence and save lives. That’s why we are reaching out to you today to make sure the Senate passes the Build Back Better Act that includes $5 billion in funding for CVI resources!
In November, the House of Representatives passed the Build Back Better Act. Now, as the legislation makes its way to the Senate, we need your support to ensure that this funding to prevent gun violence stays in the bill during this final push! This is consequential legislation: It’s the largest single investment in preventing gun violence in our nation’s history. But we still need the Senate to take critical action and ensure that this landmark spending package remains true to its goal to fund communities and save lives .
We're hosting a phone and text bank tomorrow to make sure that the $5 billion for CVI remains in the Build Back Better Act and that the legislation is passed through Congress. We have added a special action hour on Friday at 3 pm ET / 12 pm PT for Brady members and supporters to urge the Senate to pass the Build Back Better Act NOW! [[link removed]]

If we don't come together and urge the Senate's critical action, we are risking more lives. It’s time to make sure that the $5 billion for CVI remains in this landmark legislation. Please RSVP for our phone banks now so you can stay engaged in our advocacy efforts! [[link removed]]

Thank you for taking action alongside Brady.
In Solidarity,
