Republican extremist Matt Gaetz just made clear the stakes in the 2022 election last week when he told the press:

“We are going to take power after this next election and when we do…It’s going to be the days of Jim Jordan and Marjorie Taylor Greene and Dr. [Paul] Gosar….”

I don’t know about you, but that statement sends chills down my spine.

That’s the choice ahead of our country next year - whether we have a Congress that is working on getting things done for the American people, or one led by the most extreme of the extreme doing all they can to block our progress.

And Connecticut’s second district is going to be front and center in that fight.

I need you with me as we close out 2021 and prepare for 2022 - will you show your support today?

Right now, Republican party leaders in Washington and Connecticut are plotting a course to the majority straight through our district - Connecticut’s second district was put on the Republican target list last month, signaling to special interests that they should support efforts to defeat me.

And don't forget - even before our district was added to the list, Marjorie Taylor Greene came to eastern Connecticut to spread her distorted message.

That’s why we can’t take anything for granted. If they win, everything we’ve worked for is at risk.

They are counting on supporters like you to sit out next year’s election. I need you off the sidelines and with me as we gear up for the hard work ahead. Will you chip in $5, $10, $20 today to let me know that you are ready to keep this seat blue?
