John,
Before most of the Democrats running for President even start collecting signatures to qualify for Maine’s ballot, we are closing in on our goal for President Trump. It’s amazing really, the way so many have responded to the urgent need to qualify President Trump with at least 2,000 signatures from registered Republicans. This is a grassroots effort like no other in the state of Maine. Our team of volunteers and staff spent the weekend knocking on doors to drive up turnout for great local candidates and tomorrow they will be at polling places around the state collecting signatures from Republicans for President Trump. I was out
myself, knocking doors for the President. One of our great staffers tweeted a picture. We estimate that the average cost to collect a signature tomorrow will be about $2 each, to cover printing the special petitions, getting them signed, then notarized, certified and
submitted. My question for you is, how many signatures can you help us cover the cost of?
Can you chip in $10 enough to cover the cost of us collecting 5 more signatures? How about $20? That is enough to cover the cost of 10 more signatures. A donation of $50 will cover about 25 signatures, that’s more than 2% of the total signatures we still need to collect, and a huge help to all of us. Everyone who makes a donation today will be a major contributor to helping President Trump on his march toward historic re-election.
We didn’t create this new barrier to qualify him for the ballot, but we are going to be the first team to overcome it. Again, even a $5, $10, $20, or $50 donation goes a long way. If we can put more people in the field tomorrow, we want to do it. Your support right now can help us expand our program even more. We can qualify President Trump for the ballot before the snow flies and before most of his Democrat opponents even get started, then we’ll move on to other critical projects to help him win re-election while they scramble to catch up.
Thank you for all you do.
Sincerely,
Dr. Demi Kouzounas Chair Maine GOP
