With each passing day we're one day closer to the Supreme Court gutting Roe v. Wade, saving countless babies.
But with each passing day, the left is building its war chest for a massive counterattack to preserve abortion on demand.
Progressives are once again plotting to pack the Supreme Court with left-wing radicals.
And there will be fights in all 50 states and in Congress over the sanctity of life.
My friends, I know there many issues commanding headlines today and demanding your attention.
But I believe life matters.
I believe the sanctity of life is of paramount importance. How we treat the least among us and the most defenseless speaks volumes about our society.
The Supreme Court got it horribly wrong in the Dred Scott case that legalized slavery, and the Supreme Court got it horribly wrong in Roe v. Wade.
Both cases were based on the terrible notion that some people had no rights we were bound to respect.
Of course, we know better. America was founded on the unique idea that we are all endowed by our Creator with certain rights, including the right to life.
America is better than abortion on demand. We are better than the destruction of hundreds of thousands of innocent pre-born children every year.
And while we hope and pray for God's blessings, I fear we cannot continue to expect His blessings while such carnage continues each and every year.
2022 is going to bring a colossal battle over the sanctity of life at every level of government, media and our culture.
American Values will be right in the middle of it all.
But with each passing day, we're also getting closer to the end of the year -- the time of the year when we raise the bulk of our annual budget.
I must tell you that we're nowhere close to what we need for the fight ahead.
