This is why we need Dem AGs fighting for our right to vote.
Friend,
Our right to vote is sacred and must be protected at all costs.
We know that voter suppression is an existential threat to our country, and we need fierce defenders of democracy who will fight against Republicans who are taking away people’s right to vote and making it harder for communities to cast a ballot.
Republican officials refuse to let go of the false election fraud claims from 2020, and they’re showing no sign of stopping their spread of the “Big Lie” anytime soon.
Five states have already begun partisan “reviews'' of the 2020 election, and legislatures in three other states have introduced bills to begin similar audits next year. These are attacks on the very foundation of our democracy, team.
But state by state, Dem AGs are fighting back: Sixteen Dem AGs have joined a lawsuit challenging Florida’s voter restriction law, arguing that these laws are based on cases of voter fraud that never actually happened.
There are key races in Florida for Senator, Governor, and Attorney General in 2022, and it's critical that we have strong advocates for voting rights in office who will push back against these restrictions. But it’s not just Florida! Across the country we need more down-ballot statewide Democrats fighting in and out of the courts for our right to vote – and Dem AGs do just that.
Democratic AGs truly are “The People’s Lawyers” and DAGA is the only party committee devoted to electing more of them. Since 2016, we’ve won two-thirds of our targeted races, and with more than 30 AG seats up for grabs in 2022, we need your support – will you chip in today?
