John,
This past weekend was an amazing
show of support and a tremendous amount of hard work done by those who
care about our city and its future.
The sun was shining on Saturday’s
huge GOTV event at Panhandle Park. Volunteers fanned out to canvass
for Supervisor Vallie Brown and interim District Attorney Suzy
Loftus, as well as
Sheriff candidate Paul
Miyamoto, City College Trustee Ivy
Lee, and School Board Member Jenny
Lam. Please contact any of
these campaigns to help them Get Out The Vote tomorrow.
On Sunday, Proposition A volunteers
rallied at Dolores Park, then hit the streets to make sure every San
Francisco voter is aware of Proposition A and the thousands of
affordable new homes it will create for seniors, veterans, teachers,
and low- and middle-income families. Sign
up here to help on Election Day! Proposition A needs a
2/3rd’s vote to pass and we can’t take anything for
granted.
But we can’t stop now. Each one of
us has to knock on that last door, make one more call, and talk to
that last voter heading home before 8:00 pm on Tuesday. Your vote can
make the difference in these very close races.
Make your plan to vote. If you vote
absentee, drop your ballot in the mailbox now, or at any polling
location on Election Day. If you vote at the polls, they are open on Tuesday from 7:00am -
8:00pm.
I hope you will take my
voting guide with you to the polls.
See you on Election Day!
Sincerely,
Mayor London Breed
P.S. Don’t forget that I'm on the ballot
too, and I respectfully ask
for your vote!
