As a father of three young children, understanding the impact of climate change on extreme weather events is deeply important to me. I consider it a crucial step towards guaranteeing my children (and their children) will grow up in a safe, ecologically rich environment.

President Biden has already taken a stance on this, given the latest tornado news out of Kentucky:

I agree with President Biden: the Environmental Protection Agency must take a deeper dive into extreme weather events and their relationship with climate change. A clearer read on this relationship will enable Congress to enact legislation that addresses the totality of issues related to extreme weather events. This means everything from equitably distributing aid, to constructing weather-proofed homes, to decreasing the risk of extreme weather events over time.
