John,

With 12 candidates running for a chance to become the GOP nominee for governor, they are continuing to unveil their extremism.

Rather than offer Michiganders clear plans to improve our infrastructure, keep our economic recovery strong, and fight for working families, these gubernatorial candidates have gravitated to divisive issues that have nothing to do with moving Michigan forward.

While the 12 candidates continue to fight over who is the most extreme, Gretchen Whitmer has been hard at work putting Michigan first.

- She supports the bipartisan infrastructure plan because it will bring jobs to Michigan and help repair our broken infrastructure.
- She is protecting the right to choose because government should not get in the way of a person and their doctor.
- She is putting our children first by signing a historic investment in K-12 education without raising taxes.

But all of our progress could be lost if we don’t pick up the pace now. Michigan is a swing state, and this race is a tossup -- which means we need to show that we have what it takes to win in 2022.

We’re aiming to raise $1 million online by December 31 to show that we’re ready to win. Rush a contribution today to help us take on the extremists and help us keep Michigan moving forward.
