Rachel Maddow is exactly right, John.

Trump’s disgraced former Chief of Staff, Mark Meadows, is in some serious hot water after refusing to cooperate with the House’s January 6 investigation.

Last night, the House sought to hold Meadows in criminal contempt, and now his fate lies with the Department of Justice.

Most House Republicans are willing to overlook an attempt to undermine democracy just so they can follow party lines, but this shouldn’t be a partisan issue. Our Capitol was attacked, and we deserve answers.
