[2]National Nurses United
Last week, we celebrated the news that one of our four priority reps, Rep.
John Garamendi (CA-03), officially signed on as a cosponsor of the
Medicare for All Act of 2021!
As a result, we’ve adjusted the map to split up the country into three
regions to focus on our remaining three priority representatives in
Congress who are holding out on co-sponsoring this year’s Medicare for All
bill – even though they’ve previously sponsored Medicare for All
legislation in the past.
Take a look:

We’ve sent emails and tweets, and today we’re asking you to participate in
our second twitterstorm to get the attention of these three priority reps
on social media. Together we can leverage Garamendi’s announcement to
pressure other reps to join him.

Many conversations about politics happen online, specifically on Twitter.
Every representative has dedicated staff who monitor social media, which
makes it an effective way to not only get their attention, but also spread
the word about our campaign at the same time.
We need to be generating pressure on all fronts – online, offline, and
through the phones. When their offices see hundreds of tweets in one day,
it will send a strong and loud signal that we are organized and
coordinated across the country.

on Twitter today urging him to sign on to Medicare for All. Every message
makes a difference.
Thank you for sending a message. We appreciate your time!
