We don’t really see why our home should be the only place where hard-working business owners can’t ask their employees to stay safe and healthy. Vaccine requirements protect us and they’re nowhere near new to the U.S.

The first vaccine mandate law in the United States was enacted in 1809 for smallpox. In 1905, the Supreme Court upheld a Massachusetts City law, which required smallpox vaccination, noting that we don't have a right to place other people at risk. And by 1922, in another case, a unanimous court upheld childhood school mandates, calling it settled law.

So why are we living more than 200 years in the past? Sign our petition today calling on Montana’s leadership to protect our fellow citizens.
