Donald Trump and the far-right have packed the Supreme Court with some of the most extreme justices in our nation’s history. The Court is no longer a fair and unbiased body — it is now the Republican Party's political puppet.
The Biden White House's proposed solution was a Presidential Commission to study the issue. I submitted formal testimony as part of their investigation — which was informed by comments from more than 8,500 Take Back the Court supporters. Today, the Commission just published their final report and to say it's … disappointing is an understatement. But we knew a research paper was never going to solve this.
What will solve it, you ask? Adding four justices to the Court to rebalance it.
That's exactly what the Judiciary Act of 2021 would do — and its support is growing in Congress. At this moment more than 40 members of Congress have signed on as co-sponsors, but it's going to take pressure from the American people to make this legislation a reality.

There’s one simple fact: The majority of justices on the Court right now were appointed by Republican presidents who LOST the popular vote.

We know that President Biden and Congress won't move the Judiciary Act forward without immense public pressure from folks like you, who understand the threat to our democracy the current Court represents.
