I wanted to reach out this month with a special request to encourage you to become a monthly contributor to the Democratic Party of New Mexico.
Making a monthly recurring donation helps our organization make proactive decisions when it comes to planning for and budgeting for the 2022 election cycle. We know we can count on your recurring support to fund our work rather than having to scramble to make ends meet.
We’re less than a year away from the 2022 election day, and we’re forming our budget for the next year right now. We will have to budget with whatever recurring donations we pull in this month. It could be the difference between hiring 5 organizers or hiring 25 organizers.
I know that what I’m asking for isn’t always easy. But I wouldn’t ask if it wasn’t important. We have a far-right congresswoman we have to defeat and a Democratic governor and state legislature we have to protect. That won’t be easy either.
