When you give to the Rian Immigrant Center, you make a difference in the lives of immigrants and their families who need it most. 

Fallout from the pandemic continues to impact the immigrant community. As a co-founder of the Massachusetts Immigrant Collaborative, Rian has partnered with 15 organizations to provide cash and food assistance to more than 79,000 immigrants and their families, to advance vaccine equity; and to advocate for policies that will improve immigrants’ ability to build stable lives. 

But the immigrant community still needs support. According to Sarah Bayer, director of Rian’s Resource and Support Services, “When a catastrophe like a pandemic happens, the most economically vulnerable can end up homeless or in precarious housing. Mental health breaks down very quickly when we don’t have a safe place to call home. The stress from this is what we are now seeing.” Rian provides counseling and helps people navigate resources to access long and short-term shelter. 

This is just one example of the urgency the community is facing and why our counseling and case management, legal assistance, and education programs are needed now more than ever.
