So sorry if I'm interrupting you, but this email cannot wait. We will be reaching the end of our mid-month fundraising period in just a few hours, and this is such a crucial time for my campaign.

In just a couple weeks, my finance team will have to compile all our fundraising information from the past few months, submit it to the FEC, and make it available for everyone to see. Then, our opponents will pore over our reports to figure out how much money they need to spend to defeat us. We need to show our strength now, more than ever before.
