Welcome Mitch Leet to the Room for All team!

We're delighted to welcome Mitch Leet as RfA's new Program Coordinator. Mitch is from the Rochester, NY area where he lives with his partner. He grew up in the United Methodist Church (as the pastor's kid, no less!) but also has family connections to the RCA's First Church in Albany.

Mitch has most recently served as the Program Coordinator for the LGBTQIA services of a counseling center in the NY Finger Lakes region. He has significant experience in leading trainings, crisis care for LGBTQIA youth, and design. We're incredibly excited for the gifts he'll bring to RfA and directions his skills and experiences will lead us in.

Our friends at All One Body (the organization seeking LGBTQIA affirmation in the CRCNA) have a series of videos ([link removed]) featuring the input of 25 pastors, professors, and experts responding to the CRC's Human Sexuality Report. From A1B:

"The board of All One Body is alarmed and deeply disappointed in the sexuality report to the CRC Synod. We are concerned about...the devastating harm this judgmental position will have on our LGBTQ members."
