John,
I want to talk to you about all we’ve accomplished, but before I do: I promise you that this will be the last fundraising email I send for awhile, and if you’d like to help us finish our campaign strong, you can contribute online here.
But I wanted to take a moment to breakthrough the noise and talk to all of you about the tremendous progress our city has made. The campaign cycle has brought out a lot of negativity and some flat-out lies about the city we call home. I want to set the record straight.
Because of YOU, Manchester is on the rise. Let’s be proud of what this community has accomplished since I took office. Of course, there’s more work to do, and that’s why we’ve all worked so hard the past few months continue moving Manchester in a positive direction.
Here are some facts about our campaign that you can be proud of:
🏘 So far we’ve knocked on more than 35,000 doors with even more to get to between this morning and Tuesday.
📋 The campaign has brought in more than 500 volunteers to help us get across the finish line.
🗣 We’ve had substantive conversations about how we will continue improving Manchester over the next two years by making meaningful progress on economic development, education, and public safety.
😊 Through it all, we’ve run a positive campaign that’s been focused on the issues that matter to Manchester residents. Your continued generosity and investments have powered this campaign since the start.
I hope you’ll consider making just one more contribution before we vote on Tuesday.
Thank you,
Joyce
PS: I hope you'll join us at the Puritan Conference Center after the polls close at 7 tomorrow night.
