What We're Watching
An Address from Bishop David O'Connell on CCHD and Gamaliel affiliate MCU
On Wednesday, November 17, Bishop David O'Connell will address the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops General Assembly about the 50th anniversary of the Catholic Campaign for Human Development. He plans to mention Gamaliel affiliate in St. Louis Metropolitan Congregations United (MCU)'s work with Sacred Conversations. CCHD is a funder of Gamaliel and several Gamaliel affiliates, and we're proud to be featured in this discussion of CCHD's 50th Anniversary Celebration.

For Organizers
Register in the Member Portal for Organizer Development Day, December 1 12-3 p.m. CT
This month, we'll be joined by Rebecca Anderson of Earshot Stories. Anderson will lead a workshop on public storytelling to teach our organizers to tell impactful, engaging stories that get their point across and keep audiences interested in our work. Register in the Member Portal by November 30.

Training is on the move again!
Gamaliel of Illinois and Iowa hosted a local training in Cedar Rapids, Muscatine and Iowa City, IA the weekend of November 13. Members of the Gamaliel National Staff joined to act as trainers.
