Team – if you could have done one thing differently ahead of the 2020 elections, what would it have been? How about 2016?
I would’ve made one more early donation to Democrats fighting tough races. Here’s why:
As Senator Hassan’s campaign manager, I know that election strategy hinges almost entirely on fundraising projections. This means that a donation made now is more valuable than one made a week before the election because it allows us to execute a more thoughtful plan to talk to voters and get them to the polls.
That’s why I’m emailing. Pundits say that Maggie Hassan’s reelection in New Hampshire could be the closest race of the cycle and, according to my math, we’ve got a fundraising gap we need to fill in order to win. I’m hoping to post an additional $5,000 before tonight. Could you please chip in $5 or more to help us hit it?
Maggie won her last race by an extremely narrow margin of 1,017 votes. Republicans have already spent $7 million to make sure she doesn’t win. And to top it off, our internal polling shows that this race is going to come down to the wire.
I’d be MUCH more comfortable with our campaign plan if we had the early funds to support it. Like I said, we’re frankly just not there yet.
You’re one of the Senator’s most valued supporters, so I’m hoping you can come through today. Please donate $5 or more to help us hit our $5,000 goal today to win in New Hampshire and protect the Senate majority.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
Thanks so much,
