that ban abortion entirely, and an estimated 23,000 women die
from unsafe abortions globally every year. In some of the most
challenging environments in the world, we are fighting in
courts and before human rights bodies to dismantle
long-standing legal barriers that keep women and girls from
receiving the health care they need.

2. This year has been the most devastating for abortion rights in
the U.S. in decades. It's why we are working on more than 30
active cases in states across the country and continuing to
fight an unrelenting wave of extreme abortion restrictions.
