Senate Must Pass the
Build Back Better Act Now!

Dear John,

U.S. Senators are on the verge of casting their vote on landmark legislation that will lift up older Americans and their families — and we simply could not have reached this historic moment without you!

Thanks to the pressure National Committee members and supporters like you helped apply on U.S. Senators, it now appears a vote on the Build Back Better Act is imminent.

If it passes with key provisions that will lower drug costs and expand Medicare coverage, it will represent the biggest expansion of the social safety net in five decades and provide meaningful financial relief to millions of older Americans.

As you know, for months we’ve fought back against Big Pharma’s expensive lobbying and ad campaigns to kill proposals in the Build Back Better Act that would allow Medicare to negotiate directly with huge drug companies for lower drug prices. And make no mistake, Big Pharma will continue to exert massive pressure on lawmakers to strip out provisions that could impact their obscene profits right up until the moment votes are cast!

With so much at stake, we need you to stay informed and engaged as we work to deliver to older Americans the relief they desperately need from punishing drug prices — and provide them with expanded Medicare benefits that will cover hearing aids and examinations.

Thank you for taking charge of your retirement and health security — and for helping us wage this battle to ensure urgently needed improvements to Medicare remain in the final bill passed by the Senate!

Sincerely,

Max Richtman
President & CEO
