It is a privilege to represent PA-04 in Congress, and it’s also a solemn responsibility – one that I don’t take lightly.

And whether I’m in DC or the district, I’m always humbled that members of my community have placed their faith in me to advocate on behalf of such important issues, at such an important time – a responsible approach to the ongoing pandemic, the opioid crisis, gun violence, climate change, and the defense of our democracy, to name a few.

Since early November, though, DC Republicans have decided that they’re especially determined to flip PA-04 next year. They’d like to replace me and add to the ranks of their obstructionist House caucus – one that, sadly, has demonstrated no interest in governing, no interest in addressing the pressing issues we face.
