Good afternoon friend,

I was going to wait until the New Year to update you on our progress in
Scotland. But it turns out we urgently need you to take action now
[[link removed]] . Will you stand against anti-choice activists and back assisted dying in Scotland’s consultation
[[link removed]] on a new Assisted Dying Bill? You do not need to live in Scotland to have your
say.

Respond to the consultation →
[[link removed]]

There’s just one week left to r espond to this consultation
[[link removed]] and we’ve been working closely with our Scottish supporters on ensuring that
the results reflect the nearly 90% of support enjoyed by assisted dying north of
the border.

Now anti-choice campaigners are trying to drown out the will of the Scottish
public. Care Not Killing, the Christian Institute, the Society for the Protection of
Unborn Children and the Catholic Parliamentary Office have urged their thousands of members - UK wide - to respond to the
consultation and stop MSPs voting in favour of the law that dying Scots need.

The truth is, friend, this is the best opportunity for
law change that Scotland has ever seen. The proposals for the Assisted Dying Bill are compassionate and safe. Support
in Holyrood is strong. But we cannot let opponents’ scare-tactics get in the
way. Please, respond to the consultation today
[[link removed]] and ensure the results reflect the overwhelming support for assisted dying
across the UK.

Please, respond to the consultation today →
[[link removed]]

We know that many people in England and Wales would like to support progress in
Scotland and that many of our supporters across the UK will have loved ones in
Scotland desperately in need of law change. Responding to the consultation
[[link removed]] will help give dying Scots what they need - excellent care and a dignified
death.

We've put together a short guide
[[link removed]] to make sure you have all the arguments you need to argue for change. We only
need you to answer questions 1 and 2 in the section called ‘Your views on the
proposal’. It should take just 10 minutes. Please, if you can, take 10 minutes
this evening to back this Bill.

Keep up the great work,

Sadie Kempner

P.S. It only takes 10 minutes to support law change in Scotland. You do not need to
live in Scotland to have your say. If you have 10 minutes tonight, please take action
[[link removed]] to support a more compassionate law.
