In partnership with digiLEARN, we’re excited to invite you to our special virtual event series on micro-credentials. Throughout the series, we'll discuss how micro-credentials are leveraged across the country, outlining policies and practices for districts and states to consider when adopting micro-credentialing practices.

The full series schedule is below. Register to make sure you have the full series on your calendar:

  • December 16, 2-3 p.m. ET: Micro-credentials: Why They Were Developed, What They Offer, and How They Are Rewarded and Recognized. Register here
  • January 11, 2022, 2-3 p.m. ET: States Leading in Micro-credentials. Register here.
  • February 2, 2022, 2-3 p.m. ET: Policies to Support Micro-credentials. Register here.

On Tuesday we hosted a very special webinar, which included four North Dakota students alongside State Superintendent Kirsten Baesler. The Superintendent's Student Cabinet is composed of students from grade 3 through grade 12, serving 18-month terms. During that time, through hands-on experiences, they learn about the legislative process, local school district authority, and state authority.
