The Build Back Better bill is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to transform our social safety net. In addition to the Child Tax Credit, the bill makes major investments in paid family and medical leave as well as addressing climate change. If strengthened, the measure could also provide permanent protections for undocumented immigrants across the country.
