Good News: Since the three outside spending groups started running attack ads against Mark, our fundraising has picked up. That’s important, because it’s the only way we’ll have the resources to fight back against these attacks.

Bad News: But as more people are pitching in to this campaign, our average online contribution is dropping — by almost $5 a donation. And we need to get that number back up if we’re going to meet our goals.

So, we have two choices. Either we need A LOT more donations before our midnight mid-month deadline ends, or we need people to chip in a few more bucks than they normally would.

Normally when we ask people to make their first online donations, we ask them to start at just $3, because it all adds up. But with time running out, we need to ask you to dig a bit deeper. We’re asking for $10 today. It would go a long way toward helping us reach our goals and withstand these attacks.

So please. The timing is not great and we need your help:
