I wanted to reach out and say thank you. Thank you for helping us meet our end of month goal. When I started this campaign, I knew it would take a lot to beat Joni Ernst and all her dirty money.
We've been speaking out about how much Ernst took from the NRA and corporate PACs. It's a very scary reality. Millions of dollars coming in from lord knows who, in order to push an agenda that clearly excludes the needs of working families.
This campaign won't be bought and sold by Wall Street fat cats or any other special interest group. We won’t accept a penny from PACs of any kind.
It's not an easy way to fund campaign, but I believe that people-powered movement is the only way we'll be able to defeat the special interests.
In October, you really knocked it out of the park. It was our best fundraising month yet. So on behalf of my family and every member of team Mauro, thank you. Thank you for believing in our message, this campaign and stepping up when we needed your support.
I want you to know that every dollar you donated will be used to bring responsible, transparent governance to the people Iowa. Your support is synonymous to a vote for affordable healthcare for all, universal background checks, climate change reversal and for comprehensive policy that protects working people.
