John — Having served as a public health official in Sacramento County, I know how important reaching our hard-to-reach communities and giving them access to health care is.

I get how critical public health infrastructure is in the lives of everyday Americans and, John, I’m sick of Republicans who try to block common sense legislation that could improve health care outcomes for millions.

The Democratic House has passed President Biden’s Build Back Better plan — which will expand Medicare and Medicaid, lower prescription drug costs, and more. In California, these reductions means hundreds of thousands of people will save on insurance, or finally have coverage they could not access before.

I’ve seen too many times before how necessary a bill like this is. Now, I want to hear from you on what your biggest health care priorities are, so we can keep delivering progress. How do you want our health care to improve? I want 800 responses this week to be statistically accurate: [[link removed]]

Since the start of the pandemic, my colleagues and I have put a lot of work into helping our communities — including passing the American Rescue Plan to deliver resources to community health centers, support working families, and making sure vaccines and booster shots are widely available.

I am excited to move into this new phase of the future of health care — working with President Biden to make sure we aren’t just going back to business as usual, but coming back better than ever.

But first, I want to hear from my supporters like you about your health care priorities. Take the survey now → [[link removed]]

Be well,
Ami
