Edina School Board Elections are TOMORROW!

Dear Friends and Neighbors,
For many of us, it's hard to believe we're now just one year away from the 2020 elections! While voting is sure to be on everyone's minds next November, I wanted to remind you that we have local elections right here in Edina tomorrow, November 5th. Three of the seven seats on the Edina School Board will be on the ballot, and this election is so important. This is your opportunity to have your voice heard on the direction of our public schools, so please, get out and vote for the candidates that you believe will best advocate for out students, teachers, and community.
Many candidates have been out knocking doors (my favorite thing to do!) so you may have had a chance to talk to them already. However, if you want to learn more about each candidate, please take a look at the voter resources page on the Edina Schools website ([link removed]) . Make sure to do your research and vote for the candidates that share your values!
Election Day is one of my favorite days of the year because it's so great to see all the civic engagement in our community. However, if you are unable to vote at your polling place tomorrow, November 5th, you can vote early at Edina City Hall until 5 pm today. Whether you intend to vote today or tomorrow, remember to make a plan to vote and do your research! Find your neighborhood polling place here ([link removed]) .
