John,
We’re in this campaign to fight for a better Ohio, and we can flip this seat blue — but only if we unite working people around a bold vision for our state.
That’s why we were so humbled to get this DM on Twitter after I spoke on The Damage Report.
“I just saw Morgan on The Damage Report and just wanted to say I’m excited to see how her campaign goes, and I hope she does good things for Ohio. She has an uphill battle in Ohio, and she’s going to have to get out and speak to the public more than any other candidate if she has a chance at winning. I’ve been personally struggling living in Ohio. I’m raising two young girls and I no longer see Ohio as a safe environment for my children. I hope she can change that. Please keep your followers updated on what they can do to help. I want to make a difference but I want to make sure I support the right candidate and help out where I can.” |
John, this is why I’m in this race. We have to give people something to vote for — especially our progressive, young Democratic base. And to answer what you can do to help, the most powerful thing you can do for our campaign to succeed is to chip in $5 today.
Folks in Ohio realize that for years, we’ve been screwed by a rigged economic system.
While so many are rejecting traditional politicians, we’re facing a primary with Tim Ryan, who’s built a career in Washington for 20 years and in that time has overseen the economic destruction of our state.
That’s not going to gain traction with the voters. We want people who are actually going to stand up and fight for us. Our far-right opponents have been exploiting that by trying to divide us based on what we look like or where we come from, but we’re presenting an alternative to the failed status quo and radical far-right.
Ohio needs someone who will do whatever it takes to get political and economic power back on the side of everyday Ohioans. I’m the only candidate in the race who will do just that. If you’re with me, chip in whatever you can to keep fueling our statewide campaign today.
Together.
