This month, the U.S. Supreme Court heard arguments on Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization. At the center of this case is an extreme, 15-week abortion ban – and if the Court rules to uphold it, Roe v. Wade will be weakened, or possibly even overturned. This means the right to abortion would be determined on a state-by-state basis.
It also means that abortion rights in Pennsylvania are at risk.

Anti-choice Republicans in our state legislature are already trying to push forward a bill that would make abortion illegal after six weeks – a ban more extreme than Texas's.
And that's just one of the anti-choice bills in the legislature this year. The only reason they haven't been passed is because we have people in Harrisburg fighting for our right to choose.
The Supreme Court might take a few months to come to its decision. But folks, there's no time to wait: we have the power to take action right now to protect the right to abortion in Pennsylvania.
