You likely didn't hear about it, since it's become so common, but Congress just raised the debt ceiling -- again -- by $2.5 trillion!

My good friend Senator Mike Lee (an actual friend, not just a Washington "friend") summarized DC's insane spending problem so well:

Very few people in either party in Washington care about spending. If they keep spending money like drunken sailors, we’re going to keep fighting.

They need to get their heads out of their [hindquarters] and actually focus on spending money that we have and not printing money.
