Dear NRDC Supporter,
Our seas are rising. From the North Sea to the Bay of Bengal, from the
Pacific Rim to the Atlantic coasts of the Americas, rising waters caused
by climate change are threatening the lives and homes of billions of
people.
For 10 years, Dutch photojournalist Kadir van Lohuizen has been
documenting the impact of rising sea levels around the world. Now his work
can be seen in a powerful new book, After Us the Deluge: The Human
Consequences of Rising Sea Levels from Lannoo Publishers. It captures not
only stories of devastation, but of human beings' extraordinary gifts for
creativity and adaptation.
