I’m reaching out today to some of our top supporters because our team has launched an important mid-month fundraising drive, and to be very direct, we need your help.

You see, December is an FEC deadline month. We’ve emailed about these fundraising deadlines before, but this is a big one — when it’s done we’re legally required to report how much money we’ve raised, and even more importantly, how many donations we’ve received.

These are numbers that not only give our team the resources we need to organize and grow support for our agenda — they represent the strength of our nationwide grassroots movement.

They’re what lets me focus on the important work I was elected to do, rather than worry about fundraising every day like some of my colleagues.

So when our numbers go public, I mean it when I say we can’t afford to come up short.

You can bet that our movement’s opponents in the fossil fuel industry and right-wing special interest groups will be going over the books as soon as they can for any signs of weakness or slowing momentum. So that’s why I have to ask:

Can you make a contribution — of $3 or anything you can — before our team's mid-month fundraising drive ends tomorrow at midnight? We have a gap to close before the holidays, and need a few more big days to stay on track. [[link removed]]
