John,

Have you seen the Oregon Republican Party's new Platform? Here are some of the lowlights:

They're opposed to marriage equality and LGBTQ rights, regurgitating the old trope from 30 years ago: "Marriage is between one man and one woman."
They're explicitly against access to reproductive health care and the constitutional right to abortion.
They're still calling for the repeal of the Affordable Care Act, which would rip health care coverage away from 23 million Americans, including more than 400,000 Oregonians.
They're against Automatic Voter Registration and other voter expansion efforts, including the new law that allows ballots to be accepted if they're postmarked by Election Day.

A party's Platform is a statement of its values and principles, and serves as its foundational guide as its members approach legislative sessions and elections.

With this Platform, they are making it abundantly clear: the Oregon GOP's values don't align with the values Oregonians have made clear that we hold dear.

When Oregon Republicans tell us what is important to them, it's important that we take them at their word.

That's why it's so important we do everything in our power to elect Democrats next year — because Oregonians are depending on it.

Make your end-of-year donation to the Democratic Party of Oregon and help elect Democrats up and down the ballot in 2022. [[link removed]]
