Currently, I represent Queens as the only Asian American Member of Congress from New York State, but I first met and worked with Tom as Vice Chair of the DNC. Together, we fought to rebuild trust and infrastructure within the Party. It was a monumental task, and from the beginning, I saw how much Tom's values guide his work.

He deeply believes change starts when everyone has an opportunity to participate, be included, and succeed. This value powers everything that he does -- from prioritizing outreach to communities that have been traditionally left out of the political process, to diversifying our candidate pool, to his campaign for governor.

I'm asking you to endorse his campaign [[link removed]] because I know Tom will bring those values of diversity and inclusion to Annapolis to fight for Maryland families. Under his leadership, kids will finally have a shot at a world-class education regardless of ZIP code. Equal justice under the law won't just be a talking point.
