Kick Off the New Year With the First Book Club Meeting of 2022!

We hope you'll join us for our first virtual event of 2022—a Page Turners Book Club meeting to discuss Jane Goodall and Douglas Abrams' new book The Book of Hope: A Survival Guide for Trying Times.

Jane Goodall, the world’s most famous living naturalist, and Douglas Abrams, international bestselling author, explore one of the most sought-after and least understood elements of human nature: hope.

Our discussion is taking place on January 27, 2022, at 4:00pm ET/1:00pm PT.

Register to join what promises to be an interesting and insightful discussion.

PopEd Teacher Trainings Have International Reach

Since 1975, Population Education has facilitated workshops for hundreds of thousands of educators. Our innovative classroom materials have been introduced to classrooms in all 50 states and Puerto Rico. Until this year, our international reach "only" extended to Canada, where we've presented 251 workshops since 2005.

Enthusiasm for virtual teacher trainings is now making it possible to reach educators across the globe. Earlier this year, our staff held a virtual workshop for a teacher prep class at the University of Mindanao in the Philippines. The professor of this class was so impressed by the workshop that he organized a second one for over 100 other teachers in the area, which took place last week! Staff also recently presented to a teacher prep class at Gyeongin National University of Education in South Korea.

Learn more about PopEd's teacher workshops at the link below and stay tuned for more updates as we look for other opportunities to reach educators around the world.
