It’s hard to believe we’re down to the last 18 days of 2021. While it’s tempting to look back and reflect on a year that has so greatly tested the strength of our democracy, we absolutely MUST look forward to 2022 and beyond. Our 2022 strategy includes a campaign to protect election workers, whose lives are under threat for just doing their jobs.

That’s why we have a $45,000 fundraising goal from now until December 31st.

Let’s face it — election workers are under greater threat of intimidation and harassment than ever before. Many now routinely receive anonymous emails and voicemails with death threats, are installing 24-hour home security, and some have relocated their families after being threatened.

If we can raise $45,000 before the end of the year to help protect these workers, we can drive an aggressive program in four targeted states for a month. We will generate calls to stakeholders from donors, operatives, and business leaders to urge them to pass legislation to protect election administration officials. This plan ensures that these workers are insulated from the kinds of horrifying threats they’ve experienced ever since the 2020 election.
