Global seafood consumption has double over the last 50 years, and it’s likely to double again by 2050. Meanwhile, around one third of seafood is either lost or wasted. To protect the health of aquatic ecosystems, tackle overfishing and preserve the livelihoods of vulnerable communities deeply reliant on seafood, we need to maximize the value of seafood.
